Laptops and Devices
The College is transitioning from a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program to a College managed program, including the supply of laptops to students.
- In 2024, students in Years 8, 9, 11 and 12 will remain BYOD. All other year levels will be provided a College managed device as part of the compulsory school program.
- In 2025, students in Years 9 and 12 will remain BYOD. All other year levels will be provided a College managed device as part of the the compulsory school program.
- In 2026 all students will be provided a College managed device as part of the compulsory school program.
More information about the College managed devices will be provided to new families in Years 5 and 7 in the new year.
As a part of the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program within the College, all students still on the BYOD program must bring their own electronic devices to school. This program allows students (and their families) to choose their own devices and use them at the College in their classes.
Device specifications are detailed in the BYOD Device Specification document below.
